DOG-Gone Recall Classes The aim of this 5 week program is to help you teach your dog a reliable response whenever you call your dog. Our classes are small to ensure you and your dog receive a personalised service. This course includes:- Building a good foundation – teaching “come!” means running to you- How to use body language & voice to improve your dog’s response- Fun recall games to practice your recall- A variety of distractions so that you can practice your recall in the real world- Vital tips to assist in achieving a reliable recall. This 5-week course comprises of one 1 on 1 consultation and four group classes that are approximately 50 minutes in duration. All classes are held with dogs. The classes are designed to advance the student each week, adding in extra training elements gradually over the five weeks. Weekly attendance is necessary. For your comfort and to enable uninterrupted year round training, our venue has indoor and outdoor access.Class numbers are limited to ensure individual attention for you and your dog during the course and bookings are essential. Super Puppy The next step for pups and owners to ensure they’re still on the right track! Your pup will have entered another developmental stage at this time, where you will be facing different issues and meeting different behaviours from your pup. Pups will build on their current skills and learn to work with distractions. Because it is important for pups to continue to learn about body language and appropriate play behaviour we hold supervised play sessions throughout the course. Includes a one hour trainer to owner personal session in which students will learn how to use luring and a reinforcement to elicit desired behaviours using positive reinforcement training. The aim of this 8 week program will be to provide training for dogs aged sixteen weeks to six months or have completed Puppy School. This class is structured for puppies that have puppy pre-school, or some preliminary training. Our classes are small to ensure you and your dog receive a personalised service.
